The Kraken Quartet
The Kraken Quartet is an experimental percussion project begun at college in Ithaca, NY. They're influenced by minimalist tonality and a variety of jazz, classical and percussion musicians from across the professional music world. The band's setup has steadily grown over time, filling voids by incorporating more instrumentation into each member's personal array. Their icy and eclectic soundscapes are the perfect accompaniment to dark morning walks in cold weather. Watch the stellar performance here on Audiotree Live.
