Pompeya is a pop band from Moscow currently residing in Los Angeles. They play a mix of new wave, indie rock, and 70’s disco that’s light, bright, and breezy. They introduced electronic indie to the youth of Moscow with the release of debut record, “Tropical,” which was remixed by multiple artists and re-pressed as a separate vinyl. The bubbly quartet writes sensational, danceable indie music that balances out the feeling of January in Moscow.

After playing together for nine years, Pompeya have hit their stride with help from their label, No Shame Records. Known for upbeat disco pop, their newest release, “Real,” shows a more fully-realized Pompeya. It’s more somber and laid back, but equally as fun-loving and experimental.
