Cardiknox

Cardiknox is the electro-pop brainchild of Lonnie Angle and Thomas Dutton. Together they make upbeat, theatrical pop driven by a dark undercurrent of keys and synthesizers. The two-piece’s diverse musical backgrounds, Lonnie in Classical and Thomas in punk, contributes to the dazzling electronic sound. Though bright in sound, Cardiknox’s lyrical content covers darker subjects like regret, and the chameleon nature of youth.

Lonnie is a wild front-woman, engaging the audience with expressive dance and a dynamic presence. They blend their bombastic 80’s synth-pop with monstrous melodies to form the hook-driven sound. Touring across the US and nabbing a Lollapalooza slot has 2014 shaping up to a promising year for Cardiknox.
