Through the Roots is a breezy So-Cal reggae band. In their second session at our studio, the band showcases an evolving instrumental sound. In the opening to track 1, viewers can see a clear transition into experimental rock. Brady O’rear adds washy, mechanical keyboard noise to — lead guitarist and resident shredmeister — Scott Goldberg’s riffs. Through these simple instrumental changes, their pleasing and chill island rhythm is modernized.

Through the Roots are a touring band through and through. They take multiple months each year to tackle expansive global touring.
