The Life and Times

Shoegaze is an overused term for a complex, distortion-laden type of heavy rock that surged in popularity in the early 2000's. The Life and Times loosely follow this general formula but not in the pedal staring, monotonous style of their counterparts. They opt instead for gorgeous, hard-hitting guitar riffs with open chord structures and hushed, melodic vocal lines.
