Modern Vices

Modern Vices are an indie garage rock band. Their spacey, fuzzy sound emulates UK rock from the early 2000’s. Modern Vices are self-defined as “dirty doo-wop”, a yet-to-be-claimed genre which works strongly in their benefit. In the wake of bands like the Orwells or Twin Peaks, Modern Vices have their work cut out for them if they want to be recognized. This is where the band’s sonic atmospheres shine. Unlike their peers, Modern Vices aren’t blowing through 6 songs in under 10 minutes. They prefer to sit and groove in washy soundscapes. The stationary performers move their feet like a drunk Buddy Holly; finding a space and moving within the limited range. Modern Vices are an energetic, scuzzy garage rock outfit who are sure to catch buzz.
