Weakness

A relatively young band, both in terms of the members’ ages (ranging from 19-22) and the amount of time they’ve been playing together (just over a year), The Weakness has a great interest in music theory and arrangement, says drummer Michael Squeri. Given the bands penchant for loudness and going all out during their live performances, it’s not a characteristic that is immediately apparent, which often leads to band being lumped into punk and noise rock genres. However, says Squeri, the band’s songs often go through the same changes that a four or five minute song would typically go through.
