The Island of Misfit Toys

The Island of Misfit Toys are an emo and indie punk band. They’re a large group whose individual contributions make for a positively electric whole. From glock pings to thick guitar work to pounding kicks from dual drummers, The Island of Misfit Toys are united in a goal of moving everyone who witnesses their dynamic performance. Frontman Anthony Sanders is a theatrical performer whose flamboyant stage persona is personally revealing and endlessly energetic. He sings as if to each audience member individually, sharing his story with vivid imagery and a passionate vocal delivery that ranges from searing growls to soft spoken word. We were blown away by the massive band’s optimistic energy and know anyone who gives the session a chance will be too.
