Royal Canoe

Many indie bands incorporate electronics alongside a traditional set up but none do so as methodically as Royal Canoe. They use "a 6 keyboard super weapon" to build each track from scratch rather than rely on backing tracks or pre-set loops. They even go so far as to document each note, pad, blip and sound in a spreadsheet to perfect the complex tones track by track. The result is a clearly defined soundscape accompanying each electro-pop gem.
