Keep
Ensconced in an all consuming mist of heavy noise, Virginia band, Keep, creates grand, majestic, and very-very pretty shoegaze. With a sound that is heavily influenced by the goth music of the 80's as well as the shoe gaze and grunge music of the 90's, Keep writes songs that are somber, yet comfortingly nostalgic. Their Audiotree Live session is packed full of artfully layered harmonies, pummeling baselines, sweeping waves of synth, and guitar, and deep, but perfectly distant vocals.
