John Roseboro has been making a name for himself within the indie scene, redefining and innovating the bossa nova genre. Roseboro's post-bossa style builds upon both sound and subject matter of greats like João Gilberto and Antônio Carlos Jobim. Roseboro also cites his experience living with the Amish and years as a mortician, as informing his playing and perspective.
