HRVRD is a Charlotte, NC four-piece who use dense layers of pedal effects and echo to create cathedral-like headroom. Pinging keyboards manufacture a digital sea while horns add a traditional touch to the slick, cosmic tonality. Drums thump and pound to add gusto under the trembling, sharp guitar riffage.

Along with his romantic falsetto, lead singer Jesse Clasen adds flair to their performance with costuming, masks, and alternate egos. Their recent record “From the Bird’s Cage”, moves with the soft inevitability of an oncoming storm. The opening track, “Black Creme”, boasts the introspective reminder that “this is bigger than you / this is better.”
