So Many Ways is a metal-core band with elements of thrash, grunge and party rock. The Chicago five-piece plays uber-fast, unrestrained metal with mathematical breaks and runaway train-like drum sections. The two lead guitarists share the spotlight with technical riffs, finger tapping and an attitude fit for the main stage.

Their enjoyable, ridiculous personalities are shown through joyous twisted faces and fuchsia instruments. Colin Corley’s vocals channel the best of scene contemporaries, employing a monster range of virulent yells. Their new EP “Seer” is a showing of the progress So Many Ways has made toward defining their rambunctious, from the gut sound.
