Desert Noises (Session #3)

Desert Noises is a western rock band from Utah’s largest city. Kyle Henderson, the band’s prime songwriter and mastermind, takes a healthy amount of influence from Middle American artists like Randy Newman, Tom Petty, and Roger Miller. He writes 60’s pop vocal melodies complete with tight harmonies from bass player, Tyler Osmond. Lead guitarist, Pat Boyer, is a classic rock influenced shredder who carries the solos and slick licks. Within his noisy slide guitar riffage lies neo-classical, spanish and metal influences.

Desert Noises has been touring for the better part of 5 years, resulting in a beastly unit that is incessantly well-rehearsed. Their collaborative stage presence is one of shared chaos; the long-haired quartet flails, grooves and yells while performing rambunctious tracks. This energizing experience is perfectly captured in 2014 release, “27 Ways”, the pinnacle of Desert Noises’ discography.
