The National Parks

The National Parks are a western US outfit who write mountain soundtracks. They’ve been playing together for two years after a quick formation at Brigham Young University. Shimmering single, As We Ran, was the featured song in a fundraising campaign begun by the NPCA. The breakout of this song has gained them attention in folk-minded listeners across the US. Debut project, Young, is a short, succinct record full of foot-stomping yell-alongs and plenty of 2000’s folk pop. The trio of transplants from mountainous regions combine to create the group’s distant but earthy tunes.
