Smidley
For the past decade, St. Louis band, Foxing, has been anchored by frontman Conor Murphy’s bittersweet songwriting and gymnastic vocals. In 2017, Murphy debuted his project Smidley by emerging with a self-titled album of bombastic, damaged indie-pop. Smidley, named after Murphy’s childhood black lab, is a project that pushes Murphy’s well-honed skill set to its extremes.
