Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds are a seven-piece ensemble led by the powerful soul vocals of Arleigh Kincheloe. She’s a seasoned stage performer who swaggers as the band’s alluring frontwoman. By belting out massive choruses and swooning over sobering jazz breaks, Sister Sparrow herself is able to conduct the band’s constantly morphing instrumentation.

This year’s “The Weather Below” finds the band at their most collaborative, sharing conceptual duties and utilizing each player’s role to outline the record’s dynamic flow. It’s a playful, energetic junior release chock full of blues, gospel, soul, and straight up rock n’ roll.

Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds have tirelessly toured to promote the album’s release. They’re seasoned road warriors who pack in nearly 200 shows a year, constantly surprising viewers with their potent and relentless energy.
