Marrow

Marrow is an experimental indie rock band. They were formed by the main members in former Chicago hip hop collective Kids These Days, Macie Stewart and Liam Kazar. With the addition of drum and bass, they formed the current quartet.

They released their first record as Marrow entitled “TWO” in December of 2013 and “The Gold Standard” earlier this year. The new release shows their varying influences and a wide berth of sound ranging from jangly folk stories, to jazzy keyboard numbers and slow burning ballads. Steeped in jazz and classical upbringings, Marrow’s bright, co-ed vocals are at the forefront of their continually evolving sound.

Watch them perform tracks from the new record on Audiotree Live.
