Come Wind
Come Wind is a progressive indie rock band whose key members came together in 2010. They self-released two EP’s, “Wanderer, O’Wanderer” in 2010 and Grow My Roots in 2012. Their debut full-length, “Move In Place” was released in November of 2015 and marks a transition in sound and approach. Though originally branded under a Christian rock label, Come Wind has worked to distance themselves from the stigmatized genre by writing more open-ended lyrical content. They’ve seen a few lineup iterations in their six year career, but the core has remained steady and the current quintet is the most intriguing yet.
Come Wind can be recognized by clean, jamming guitar work and anthemic choruses. They’re inclined to write dramatic ballads about faith and feeling that bounce from progressive indie to floating folk rock.
